Payment setup

Let's get you paid.

A few quick steps so we can pay you properly: who to pay, your tax paperwork, and where the money lands. One signature at the end files everything as an executed packet.

The payment

What we're paying.

Tell us which payment this setup is for, exactly as agreed with your Arson Theory contact. Our team verifies these details against the approved terms before anything is released.

Your invoice(s) — attach every invoice this payment covers
Related agreement — upload if you have it; skip if we already have it on file
Heads up: don't put bank details on your invoice — we can't accept them from documents. Your banking is set up separately through a secure BILL invite after this packet is verified.
Who gets paid

The payee.

Exactly who the money goes to — you personally, or a company. Use legal names as they appear on tax filings, not your artist name.

Tax residence

Where you're taxed.

Your country of tax residence decides which IRS form applies. Answer honestly — it protects you from being over-withheld.

How we reach you

Contact.

Your phone number matters here: it's the number we call to verify any future change to your payment details. That call protects your money.

Tax paperwork

Form W-9.

This is the official IRS form, filled from your earlier answers — review every line and fix anything that's off. Your signature on the final step signs it, and the completed form is included in your signed packet.

Where the money lands

Your bank.

Just the basics here — never your account number. After we verify your packet, you'll get a secure invite from BILL, our payment provider, and you'll enter your banking details directly with them.

Why we do it this way: your account and routing numbers never touch email, this form, or our files — so they can never be stolen from them. All payments arrive as a deposit to the account you register with BILL.

Verification

Prove it's you.

A government-issued photo ID lets us verify the person we're paying is the person on the agreement. Passport or driver's license.

Prefer to send it separately? Skip this — our team will follow up by a secure channel before release.

Almost done

Review & sign.

A quick look, then sign. Your signature executes the packet — it files automatically with our records and you get the signed copy by email.

You're agreeing that

  1. The information on this form is true, accurate, and complete, and the IRS tax form generated from your answers (or uploaded by you) is certified as true, correct, and complete — your signature below signs it, under penalties of perjury where the form requires.
  2. Any advance issued under this authorization is subject to the terms of your agreement with Arson Theory, including any recoupment provisions set forth there.
  3. You consent to electronic payment and to electronic delivery of any Form 1099 or 1042-S.
  4. You are not acting on behalf of any sanctioned party; non-US payments are screened before release.
  5. Future changes to payment details require a new signed authorization, a verification call to your number above, and a 48-hour hold.
  6. This form governs payment logistics only — it doesn't modify your agreement with Arson Theory.

Your signature

Packet filed

Signed & in.

Your payment authorization is executed and filed. Here's exactly what happens next:

1
Check your email — the signed packet copy arrives from DocuSign.
2
Watch for the BILL invite — a secure email from BILL (bill.com), our payment provider, where you enter your bank details directly. It's the only place we'll ever ask for them.
3
Get paid — once your details are verified, your payment is released as a deposit to your account.
